BEST LIBRARIES IN DELHI

  A Library is a collection of materials, books, and media that are easily accessible for use and not just for display purposes. Which may vary widely in size, maybe organized for use and maintained by a public body such as a government, an institution/school. It is the digital era but digitalization can’t compete with the feel of holding a book and reading in the silence of the library.

 LIST OF LIBRARIES

 1-The American Library:- The American Library, Which is under the supervision of the United States embassy. The library organizes a wide range of events for the members including art and craft workshops, book launches, and book readings.

 2-Delhi Public Library:- The Library is the richest in Delhi. But one of the largest branches in Sarojini Nagar. To have access to their books you need to show that you are a resident in Delhi. This is one of the renowned libraries in Delhi.

3-British Council Library India:- The library is not for the general public, you need to be a member of this library to access the book and other facilities of the library. The membership of British council libraries also lets you attend all the seminars and workshops.

4-The Central Secretariat Library:-It has one of the largest collections of books. This is one of the few public libraries. This is not just restricted to books but it also contains encyclopedias and dictionaries.

 5-Dyal Singh Public Library:- Dyal Singh Public Library was established in  

Lahore, and then it was moved to our very own Delhi by the Dyal Sing Trust Society. This library is quite rich in books and they are quite versatile as they contain subject areas like literature, social sciences, and the liberal arts.
